Welcome to the Sears Registry

If you are looking for something to do with your Sears Motorbuggy, the following may give you some ideas.

If you have an event that would welcome Sears's and their owners, please let me know when, where and who the contact is and I will add it the this page. Please don't ask me to put up an event like the "Super 60's show" or "Handsome Hotrods". I have been to shows like that with my "T" and have not always felt welcome.

Items will be placed here chronologically by event date.

But if you have an event that would welcome some brass era cars, I will place them here for no charge if you provide the following information for the Event:

  • Event Name (Required)
  • Event Description
  • Event Date (Required)
  • You Name/Contact Name(Required)
  • Your Phone Number including Area code (Required)
  • Cost of event, if any (Required)
  • URL with more info if available.
  • Email address (Highly recommended)

You can send the info to my email address listed below.

A Sears will be sold as a part an auction This Sears is a 1910 Model J (serial # 3297) formerly owned by Dr. Loy Zimmerman. The vehicle received a complete restoration in the mid-1980s and was the Antique Automobile Club of America’s Senior National First Prize Winner in 1987. The vehicle has been in storage since the late 1990s and remains in excellent condition. Sears Motorguggys do not come up for sale very often. Here is a chance to own one.

The Auction is being conducted by Martin Auctioneers. Here is a link to their website for this auction:
