"I have never seen anyone blowout their headlights."...was a comment I heard behind me as I was loading my Sears into the trailer. I am still chuckling over that! Sandy Rose

Bought a building that was built approximately 1907 and found a canopy in the Attic that might belong to a early 1900's Sears car

I am interested in early cars, particularly tiller steered and chain driven cars. Hope to be able to network with owners of both restored and unrestored Sears automobiles. Al

I am doing some work on a Sears buggy which came from Texas. It is single fan, has a Waizel(?) Brothers Inc. 4-hole oiler driven by an eccentric on the front of the RH cylinder exhaust valve base. It has no sign of a number on the crossmember. The name plate has number 53?? on it, but I think some, if not all the body timber is not original. Are there any other bits I can check to try and date it?

I just found one of these in a building that is in the process of collapsing. It is complete, fenders, running boards, top and the motor is not stuck. The owner says it's a 1906 but maybe mistaken, the nameplate shows the model as a partial "P" the serial no is 3418. I'm currently trying to see if it's for sale. Great article, Thanks

Hi John, I purchased the Sears 1088 pictured on your website. I am looking for wheel bearings if they are available. Also a hood frame or enough detail for me to reproduce one. Kindest regards Colin

My step dad had a picture of the Model L advertisement. Very similar to the ad you have except in color. Do you know what it may be worth, if anything?
